i like it better than i thought i would, but boy am i ready for them to be off that boat. then, i suppose they're ready for it too

the sad fact of it is, i'm just a sucker for books in the Horatio Hornblower model. (Honor Harrington, Miles Vorkosigan, and Temeraire) --but i've never read even the first hornblower book.

hard to pick it up again after Throne and Agent. two fast paced books that were just fun to read--this one will be good i'm sure but i'm not there yet. and i've got Phoenix and Oberon waiting for me......
