I love the rawness and vulnerability. Ranitta’s perspective is helping me to develop a deeper empathy for black women who have experienced addiction are in recovery and have been institutionalized. I’m enjoying the weaving through time as it means to tell her story. And I really value hearing her in her most thoughts and dialogue. It’s beautifully written.
