crawling toward the next book atp, and this one started off so well :’(

this has been a theology deep dive for the last 60 pages. i can’t say i’m having the most delightful time.

surely we’re pregaming Armand here: “‘you just let him adore you, and educate you, and take you places, and buy you beautiful things, and you never even had the decency to go to bed with him’” like? that in concert with what we already know about Marius?

the number of strays Armand is catching out of the blue in the first chapter alone is so funny, i love his beef with Lestat
