That would explain why it was so confusing!

This is the most confusing Dickens book and hard to follow on audiobook. So many characters and characters going by different names. 😵‍💫

Poor Martin. America can be such a bummer.

Oh, dear. I was hoping to avoid the racism and degradation of black Americans, but that's not the case in this novel. Even considering the time, it's too much. 😢
