i’m starting to get a lil annoyed about how weak and mortal she’s made ganga! chitra banarjee divakaruni did the same thing with draupadi in palace of illusions and it annnnnoyed me. why are we weakening these characters?

ganga’s love for the vasus really made me cry! they’re all she has!!! her babies!!! and idk why but i love how she protected vasudev. i think i always just felt so sad for him + my thalassaphobic ass was so freaked out by the thought of him having to swim during a thunderstorm while sheltering his baby!!!
