im also watching the j-drama based on the novel and they changed so many things...i think the novel flows much better personally. but the actor they chose for kiyoi is pretty enough to make me keep watching.

ya know how eng phrasal verbs tend to drive learners crazy? well jp has the same thing. only it likes to affix two verbs together to make a new verb with a diff meaning. and sometime those meanings are not obvious at all. oh well.

top tier selection.Lullaby of the Dawn is great. jp bl rarely does very plotty things nowadays so its nice to see someone finally making that happen.
Yassss omg!!! 😭 I've cried with it. The last volume (6) left of a cliffhanger and it's diabolical! Because what do you mean about that one spot on his back!!I think mangas are great for short resolutions and satisfying short reads. I read After Glow and Love Tattoo recently, and they both have these really solid plots. I wish they were a little longer, but overall they were great!

afterglow was good, not bcs of the plot thou but the art. that back tattoo was diabolical!! ive read two works by that mangaka and her art style is deffo memorable. hope she makes more.
there was a period of my life when i splurged on over 300 bl manga volumes lol from amazon japan. (for lang practice obviously :D) i had to donate most of it though when i moved countries. but i finished almost all of them. most were meh thou.
i have a manga shelf with some of the titles ive read. but the problem is a lot of published manga u cant really find on goodreads lol esp if its new.
if ya want i can put together a list of sorts, mostly relying on my memory and some stuff i still got digitally.
is it just me or is smut just the cringiest when in one's native language? :D
