This book just keeps getting more interesting to me as I keep reading. The main character Jason and his friends have developed a liking to guns now, showing them maturing more than before. Jason also met a girl named Dawn and he got his first kiss from her. He really likes her and carves his and her initials on this tree near the lake in black swan green

So far the main character Jason was pressured by his friend to start smoking cigarettes. After trying it he threw up and felt ashamed that he tried it in the first place. I haven't read much but a lot has happened. I found out that the Black Swan Green is the area in which the novel takes place. The main character and his friend Hugo have matured a lot. Hugo started smoking cigarettes and stealing from stores because he doesnt want to pay for things and he is under the age of 18. Both boys have also showed more interest in girls.

This book is getting more interesting as I continue to read it. I really enjoy reading this because the main character is just going through his adolescence years and is continuing to mature as i read more. I can relate somewhat to the main character since he used to worry about his social status in his school and i used to try to be friends with everyone i thought that were cool in middle school.

I still continue to enjoy reading this book. I think everyone can relate to this book because it talks about this boy's childhood and how he was self-conscious about him being a stammer. He is afraid to speak with people because he always stutters and thinks no girl will like him because of it. Everyone is self-conscious about something in my view so that is how i think anyone can relate to this book.

So far from what I have read, I am enjoying this book. It makes funny statements about the importance of popularity among the younger generations. The narrator likes to talk about outside resources like books and movies so if you don't know what the titles are you'll have a hard time understanding what the narrator is talking about.

I just started reading this book and I'm enjoying it so far. The author makes a lot of references from old movies such as 'Star Wars' and talks about other sources that I have never heard of before like the band 'the Sex Pistols' which makes it hard to understand what the Maine character is talking about sometimes. It also makes a funny theory about how kid's names or nicknames can tell them how popular someone is
