I was expecting a foodie book. I didn’t know MFK Fisher wrote anything else. Surprise, it’s a memoir of living in France. She is actually an amazing and very insightful writer. This is a book that needs to be read in small bites and I haven’t got time right now, what with a pile of library books waiting for me. I will try this one again someday.
