I keep running away to other books that will hold my interest. There's just to much verbiage and not enough stuff actually happening. The characters wax poetic about their feelings, while the narrator gives us philosophical insights into their actions.
However, I will continue the slog through this mire of rhetoric because I want to see what happens... Arrgh
