I think that it is interesting how Alexander Hamilton came from nothing, with a broken family and very little money, and became a very memorable politician. He must've worked very hard to get where he ended up. Even though he made very awful mistakes, he was still very inspiring.

Although, I understand why her life before that had been terrible. She got thrown in jail by her ex-husband because he could. Women back then didn't have much say, which I find unfair. Alexander Hamilton's family is mostly dead. His mother died, his father died, his cousin committed suicide, his aunt, uncle, and grandparents are all dead. He only has his brother, James C. Hamilton. He also has his (possible) brother. He grew up with their family after he became an orphan, although everyone always said that he looked like one of the boys in the family. The father of the family always loved him-

I find it very interesting that Alexander Hamilton's mother served as a slave. I also did not know that he was part black, although it makes much more sense. That is why the slaves of America called him 'Our Hamilton'. I really enjoy this book.
