So far I'm rooting for the doctor, but I'm trusting Mary less and less. Her attitude is lacking in self-awareness, and her good deeds are completely performative. She can admit privately that she has her biases against this lawyer and that one, but refuses to recuse herself here. Perhaps she should have, honestly.

As a Canadian legal professional, this is really enjoyable so far.
