INCITING INCIDENT: The inciting incident in Nelson Mandela's life was when his Dad died. His Dad died from undiagnosed lung cancer right in front of Nelson's eyes. After his funeral Nelson's Mom sent him to live with a Regent. This changed Nelson's life and inspired him to become a lawyer instead of a miner.
