King Solomon is dead now and his son took over. Things are going even more downhill cause he built some idols and now the Lord said that him and his family will be wiped out.

This chapter was called “Solomon’s Unfaithfulness to God”:/ so you can guess how it went. Felt bad for Solomon’s son tho fr not his fault his dad screwed up and now the kingdom of Israel is being taken from him.

Currently in I Kings chapter 11. A lot has stuff has happened to get us to this point but to sum it all up in Genesis everything was made and since then it has just been chapter after chapter with being disappointed in Israel’s lack of faith and their constant turning away from God. Then after they turn away, God saves them from the misery that they created then they worship Him for a while then turn away again.
