Okay, I just finished 23 chapters; I’m finding it a bit long even though there’s plenty of action. I’m going to try not to DNF it since I really like anything involving gladiators and mythology, and I want to see what happens! To me, it feels like a mix of LOTR and The Hunger Games, but make it gladiators with a hint of Star Wars politics like Maeve is basically Princess Padmé, obsessed with becoming queen.
