I’m not the biggest fan of this one. I understand that their lack of empathy was the purpose of this story as mentioned in the postscript, but I didn’t really like it.

Fantasy and mystery are some of my favorites, so to have both from Mr. Sanderwitch himself is awesome. I did see the main twist coming from the very beginning (as I imagine most people do) but there were still cool surprises. I am not the biggest fan of thrillers, though. They tend to leave me feeling kind of empty and sad. Still a great story.
