I cannot put this story down - my compassion for
Victoria is so heartfelt and is again showing me that I have a ways to go yet in terms of opening up my heart to acknowledge the self-compassion I’ve yet to give to my self.
I adore each sentence. Beautifully and gently written words that ring true to many who’ve had a tough childhood.
For me, To Go As A River is right up there with The Glass Castle.
