the author says “it couldn’t just be the political situation inspiring such an outpouring” in reference to a group of women at a work out class grieving the confirmation of brett kavanaugh. this quote from the book feels so wrong to me, because yes it can be just the political situation that inspired it!!! even though the group she was referring to was privileged women, their rights were put in jeopardy
