Greg the protagonist is a skinny wimpy kid that is in middle school and he try's to fit in but he doesn't. Kinney writes , " So im Pretty sure i wont be signing autographs anytime soon"(178). Greg is just trying so hard to fit in but he is making it worse for him self. Even though Greg doesn't fit in he never gives up on it and or anything.
