I was looking forward to book 2 (almost DNF book 1 but the twist at the end was unexpected) I thought book 2 would show Scarlett tapping into her power in Durians palace and spin a web of manipulation amidst them. With the introduction of Rosalind, I thought she be the mentor to show Scarlett the ropes. I was hoping for a powerful redemption for Scarlett. Not to have Rune continue to baby her.
