I've loved this analytical portion of the book. I've learned multiple terms I did not know previously. I also love a good acronym (DOPAMINE). Hoping to finish it today.

Wow 26-7 is so sad and real. It breaks my heart that these are the realities of the internet that I see to some degree in my life. I am at odds right now. This book has put me at odds. And yes, I do realize the irony of posting updates about a book on a digital platform through which I am being repulsed with digital platforms.

I love the mix of narrative and reflection. It's cool to jump back and forth. Dr. Anna Lembke is an amazing writer. Her storytelling is surprisingly captivating and jarring. I'm surprised by how visceral some of her stories are. She is also good at predicting how what she writes makes the reader feel which is fun because I feel like she's caught me grimacing or laughing a few times.
