This book is perplexing to me because I’m halfway through, and I’d say maybe 20% of this book has been about the dog and the rest is about writing. Which is fine I guess, but the blurb didn’t say that. It says it explores human canine devotion. The writing isn’t even connecting to the dog most of the time. Confusing.
