i started this like a week ago out of curiosity and as a challenge to read the whole thing before my friends and i go see the movie this tuesday. i have GOT to stop reading all the popular books i'm curious about because this is borderline slop to me and i cannot believe it's narrated by a guy who says "motherfluffer." thank god i do not work at a bookstore anymore. SAVE ME CLARICE LISPECTOR AND BARBARA KINGSOLVER!!
