The genre of my book is fiction. This is because the story takes place on strange planets and in confusing timelines. Obviously, this is not factual as the Earth has not been destroyed by the Vogons in our dimension. Also, there have been no confirmation of life in the Betelgeuse system, like Ford for instance. To strengthen this claim, we have never heard of the dolphins disappearing. Clearly, the genre is fiction.

Personally, I believe that my book is meant for adolescents and young adults. I believe this because Adams uses more complex words and phrases which wouldn't appeal to younger readers. Not to mention that all of the primary characters, like Ford and Arthur, are adults. The book also has a lot of imagination and funny scenarios which may not appeal to older readers. I, however, find the book hilarious and fun.

My novel is a character and plot driven story. Throughout the book, Zaphod and his gang are trying to evade the Galactic Police because they are charged with stealing "The Heart of Gold". Meanwhile they are trying to find the guy who rules the Universe. These show that the story is plot driven. The story is character driven when Zaphod contemplates who he is now and who he was before he locked his brains.
