The terrorists have let Frieda (the hysterical secretary go) so a lot of the other hostages are trying it on now. Not much other story movement yet though

The story is moving through to talking about a Lebanese journalist who’s wife has now learnt he’s trapped in the embassy and one of the terrorists lets him talk to her and that upsets him.

Really enjoying the tense drama of this book! There are hostages that are ill and they are trying to organise doctors for them.
Trying to avoid the temptation to Google what actually happened!

Quite gripped by this so far. It’s obviously based on the true story of what happened in the Iranian embassy, which I knew nothing about, so I think it’ll be a very interesting read.
