Okay okay I know what I said but ngl, Eli’s rage and passion is HOTTTTTY

This is where I have an issue with these rushed ass romance books.
“Even though we’re keeping it casual, it feels anything but.” - MMC.
He just spent the past two chapters telling her that she was his and he wanted to show the world that and he wants all of these things with her and FMC is practically down. But now we’re gonna call it “casual” again?? Like please choose a lane and stick with it!

Okay so I don’t mind that they’re hot for each other. My issue is foundational. Like we jumped so quick from him hating her and calling her a bitch to dragging her into a bathroom at a club and it’s hot don’t get me wrong it’s just also lacking for me a little. Like I wish we had more depth on their interactions turning to attraction.
