Wolff is becoming a favorite. He doesn't create the same tension Carver does, but he touches darker subjects Carver wouldn't, giving the feeling of "anything goes" in each story, which I love because you never know what's going to happen. Nothing worse than predictability. I dig you, Tobias Wolff!
