Nadia Diamondstein's grandfather was the groom in the wedding Noah was the best man for. Her parents got divorced and she had to stay with her dad while her grandfather got into turtle walks because of his new wife. Nadia started to feel unimportant so she stopped participating in the turtle walks...but when a storm comes she can't ignore the turtles' need.

I really enjoyed Konigsburg's From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, so my hopes are high

Pre-read: this came HIGHLY recommended by Janssen from Everyday Reading, so I'm curious. Plus, it's a middle-grade novel which can be one of my favorite kinds of books to read!
