I think the only thing that's working for me is the manipulate male lead. Everything else is kinda meh?

I don't get why they're treating her so disrespectfully? They know she's a noble (daughter of a chieftain) yet speak to her like she's lesser? Maybe it's because she's from the countryside? Also, I don't understand why she is so giddy about joining the guild? I thought she suspected them of being involved with her dad's death? Why is she being so dreamy eyed about it?
