I think that the book is doing a good job at showing the resistance of apartheid to be a united effort instead of one almost solely championed by Nelson Mandela. I think it's also good at showing the racial nuance in apartheid... an issue that is usually separated to black versus white when there was also the categories for "coloured" and "Indians." the art styles kind of awful though
