God give me a man like Hector Auvray

This is taking me a bit to get through, but it’s a cute read! Hector is a distinguished gentleman, thoughtful and polite, while Nina is a bubbly, sugar-sweet country girl who is unaware of city etiquette. Their dynamic, even this early in the book, is very wholesome.

I’m currently fighting to read this book, but only because I’m in sort of a reading slump 💔 However, the main character Hector so far is basic but gentlemanly, so I’m not opposed to him. The characters’ names are a little difficult to keep track of, but I imagine it’ll become easier the more I read.
