Reading this one slowly, which feels necessary. Tim Keller’s thoughts are (as always) compelling & challenging how much my view of suffering has been shaped by Western culture. It feels especially relevant right now.. although Tolkien’s “always after a defeat and respite, the Shadow takes another shape and grows again” reminds me it likely would in any season.
