Status Update

Tanner Gadams is 70% done

Things that have happened in this book:

People write lots of poetry
Sleeves are damp with tears (always)
Every character has an affair with at least one other character (not counting Genji who has had many affairs with many women)
And now Genji is dead (spoilers for a 1,000 year old book)
And I still have over 300 pages to go

They were smoking something strong in the Heian period
