I won't catch up if I read at the slow pace I am now. I'm currently banged up from being klutzier than Bella Swan and in a world of pain. Brain is totally scattershot at the moment. I hope to rest up and get back up to speed over the weekend.

What did you do to yourself?

There was a hole through the floor from the old furnace duct work removal. It HAD had a grate on it, but it migrated to another duct hole in the house and...I forgot. Stepped on the cardboard over it and plummeted up to the left hip. Freaked my cockatoo out as I frantically hung onto her cage for dear life.

I'm a sore puppy this morning and accidentally whacking my left thigh with that killer bruise on just about everything.

I knew I didn't operate well at 5am, and this just proved it.

Misfit Ouch! I am so sorry, but it sounds like nothing is broken. I thought I was the only person that took dumb falls :)

I have become so squicky about falls and fall hazards it's almost embarrassing. The guys at the office always chuckle over it. That is, until they trip over the trip hazard I had just warned them about :p

I rarely fall, but when I do it's usually spectacular. Luckily I have bones of steel and haven't ever broken anything. Lots of milk and cheese as a kid. :)

Keep it up. Broken bones hurt like hell :/

Jemidar Ouch! That sounds painful and a lot like the sort of thing I would do. Hope you feel much much better soon.

Thanks. And just about an hour ago, I whacked my eye with a utility extension cord. Just smother me in bubble wrap and lock me away. :-\

message 11: by Jemidar (new)

Jemidar I go through stages like that. It's never nice.

Sandi *~The Pirate Wench~* What the heck Karla!? Thank God your ok! Did you have to get x-rays or anything? Ah well..now you'll have to put your feet up ,relax and read till your better..what a shame :D Hope your really ok:/

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

No x-rays. Just a big bruise on my leg. Luckily I had a chiropractor appt. already scheduled for April 5th. I'll definitely need it now. :P

I thought I was the only one capable of clubbing themselves with a cord. I was trying to untangle a twisted vac cord once and the plug end went flying right into my face.

Definitely sending hugs your way. No wonder we didn't see much of you yesterday.

I appreciate the sympathy. I've hit myself with or run into just about everything. My epitaph will doubtless be amusing.
