What I loved most about this book is its poetry and the way the theme is chosen.
The writer gives these women back their voice. She asks, it seems to me, who are witches really — and who gets to decide what it means to be one. And that women believed in sisterhood and held onto each other at a time when they had no formal power, but had their own.
