Julio The Fox Hello, Larry : I did read Arthur Schelsinger's ROBERT KENNEDY AND HIS TIMES when it came out; too much of a hagiography, but he did convince me RFK grew more progressive post-1966, particularly with regard to the Third World. But, no exculpating his working for McCarthy.

LPosse1 Larry Julio- great to hear from you! So far, I’m not a huge fan of the book. I can tell you that I’m so blown away by the McCarthy part. I was woefully ignorant about that chapter. Happy for any Bobby Kennedy book recommendations you have. I have enjoyed learning about the Kennedy family.

David Mc Larry & Julio…..It’s interesting to note that Bobby evolved from a conservative associate of Joseph McCarthy in the 50s…to that of a liberal icon when battling Eugene McCarthy for the Presidential nomination in 1968. Indeed, he shifted from one McCarthy to another.

LPosse1 Larry David- as usual, you are so incredibly insightful. I’m only halfway through the book and I can’t wait to explore Bobby’s evolution. Thanks for checking in
