My frustration at this point falls within my typical problems with long grimdark stories: 1. If a story is beyond 500pgs, it better be compelling. This just keeps going without the tension a 632pg story can afford. 2. Don't ONLY have detestable characters. The POVs (with the exception of Shivers & moments w/ Morveer) are all very unsympathetic...which is the bane of character-driven stories. Where's my Glokta? :'D
