It sort of makes me mad at myself that even when I get pissed off at romantic storylines there's still a part of me that goes "d'awww". Such a sucker.

I'm not sure what's frustrating me more at this point - the fact that there's a need for romance in all these books, or the fact that Tris is so thick (though I suppose I could say naive instead).

Yeah... don't exactly have warm fuzzies about the book.It's not bad, really, and it does seem to be picking up... but there's a lot of stuff which just is obvious to the reader that Tris is a total cluebaby about, and it gets a bit annoying.
Also, I still think the whole premise is kind of silly... the whole having to divide into factions based on your main virtue 'cause people are simple like that. It's just... *throws hands up in exasperation*
Yeah. I have to admit the reviews turned me off. Even the *squee* ones... (or maybe especially the *squee* ones).
