Once more a bunch of nameless background characters have died. This series is full of Red Shirts.

Everything has been so high drama that the supposed danger that now threatens doesn't feel like an escalation, it's "just Thursday". Also, the characters keep switching sides on what is the best course of action back and forth constantly (sometimes in the same conversation) and they keep rehashing things they've talked about many times without getting anywhere...

There's a lot of conversations between the characters of actions and character development that _has happened_, but very few scenes of such things being shown.

Not sure how I feel about this aromantic taken on mates (as an aro person myself). Will have to think on it.

Thank the stars there was an actual PLAN!

Aaaand now we're back to begging Gavin to come home. Whiplash I tell you!

The sudden change in emotion is giving me whiplash. Carter spends a year searching, weeks living with Gavin who the whole time has said "go away", and Carter just stubbornly stays. AND YET the second the pack shows up and Gavin still tells them to leave, THAT is the final straw? Immediately? This is...frustrating.

"We keep making the same mistakes over and over and over." You sure do and it is mighty frustrating!!
