Asking her to marry you when you’re 19 and shes 9 is not a mood :/ why would the author think that’s a good idea of things to say - even if it didn’t happen, it’s still creepy to think about

The writing is confusing when there’s action

I have to add now before I forget that the fact that she was molested is nothing more than a plot device and it added nothing to the story or to her character. It was added for shock and trauma value and nothing else
