I’m surprised to find this book as accessible as it is. Refreshing. It’s well-argued and clear, and it uses good and fair sources. It’s compelling. I don’t agree with all of the arguments, but the book is succeeding in challenging my initial biases and current theology. This has deep implications on other beliefs of mine, and so it’s a confronting read, if that makes sense. I’ve got tons of notes on it.
