Okay, the Goodsir and Jopson chapters ended me 😭 Narrator did amazing with Goodsir's final chapter.

RIP Dan Simmons, sad to hear of his passing when I am finally reading his work. Though I have some criticisms, he was a fantastic writer.

Simmons is such a frustrating writer, he'll write an absolutely fantastic Blankey chapter, literally perfect, then follow it up with the most absurd Irving chapter.

I am enjoying this more than I thought though, there is genius in this that the show broadens and tidies up.
