Well it’s uh going somewhere. Everyone’s pretty 2D so far, honestly having 12 whole people on the ship and introducing them back to back with one or two sentences of description means I’m grasping at straws when they talk.

I have to admit I’m incredibly nervous about this book. Got a bit into it, it plays off some tropes I’m not entirely interested. Dead life-loving wife, poorly speaking Russian, and I’ve heard the author used ai for his original cover (not the one I have now). So safe to say this is a hear me out sort of book. I’m guessing it’ll be 3-4 stars
