I’m learning a lot about relational trauma, the adaptive child & how couples move from “you vs me” to “us”…. but I just hit a section where he somehow connects a patient not wanting to change diapers to anti feminism, BLM, anti maskers during covid, systemic racism & LGBTQ. It goes on for like 20 pages. Huge conceptual leap. Therapy should feel like a safe place.. the political framing is out of place
