Its slow but it feels like a historical fiction with representation of hardships different people had to endure.

Lines like - "You promised to stay loyal. Are you a woman or a child? A woman keeps her word when its difficult, not just when its easy. That's what it means to make a promise"- are what keep me reading..

I feel like we all need that reminder in today's age. Its too easy to go back on your word.
