The first book was a lot more similar to the show. This book has similarities in the plot and in some of the characters, but is taking different turns. Love (the character not the emotion) and Delilah have the most differences from their TV characters. It’s interesting to read the book and to think about the creative choices the TV people made to switch things up. Joe is still weird asf
