The theory of forms is intellectually striking. The idea that the soul exists before the body and persists after being judged on virtues with the goal of being as good as possible is interesting. The idea that the soul exists before the body and has all the knowledge one can attain and one must cultivate virtue and study philosophy to kind of unlock the lesser known virtues of the soul is also quite an idea.
