ARE YOU KIDDING ME. 800 pages of nothing and then BAM. Every single plot twist and action packed event in 200 pages. Like wut 🤯

Whattttttt. How did it take us 750 pages to get here?!?!?!?!

I was not expecting the plot twist with Darien’s dad. That whole scene was a cluster, but you also know in books like this that it’ll be bad before it gets good, but it will be good in the end. Darien’s got this

Oh here we go with the drama.

Finally halfway! Okay so there is a LOT of world building and relationship building here. Of course the problem that started the book has become a whole new problem. And there’s a lot of others like werewolves, witches and warlocks, vampires, demons, devils, humans, angels. It’s also urban fantasy, but a made up city. TONS of side characters. Overall it’s good so far but a little slow.

Still chugging along

Oh my goodness this book is LONGGGGG. The ARC is actually about 1000 pages.
