The hospitality section really hits home. It can be so hard when people don't reciprocate. But building community is worth the slow, long, effort. And it can be such a blessing from the Lord to others through your family.

Phylicia does a pretty good job of showing you routines and practical specifics while also teaching you the principles and methods that you can apply to your specific situation. We don't all have to be homesteaders.

Ah. The dreaded non-regular tending chores. I'm excited to see what she suggests. These definitely have us underwater as new homeowners. There is just so much we never knew we were supposed to do. Did you know you're supposed to clean your dishwasher filter?! We learned that the hardway as a young married couple. Lol

Not to say I don't appreciate her advice. It is actually really great especially if you already have a complicated laundry routine and want ways to improve or simplify. But for now, I'm satisfied with how clean our clothes are lol Maybe someday I'll start separating them out more.

Here we go again with the laundry routine. Do most people separate their laundry? Every time I read someone's laundry routine they separate delicates, whites, towels, etc. But I've never done that. I rarely feel a need to. I follow the tags, but most of them just say to wash on cold, so there is no problem. The big issue is if you use the dryer or hang dry.

I am not a with it enough person to do this much cleaning. Especially with a toddler running around. But I really appreciate her breaking it down into some specific, practical tips for people.
