very well written and compelling. I am delighted by crackpot theories. I think there's a sliver of true whimsy that comes from entertaining these ideas. I am intrigued by the difference between believing in and enjoying these kinds of theories. Do I have to be a true believer to enjoy in the discussion of fairies with friends? Just because I don't believe in fantastical does that deprive me of the whimsy they bring?
