i really hope im just in a mood right now and the final 72% of the book doesn’t feel this way

you know what, i have to hand it to her - her writing IS much more poetic and sophisticated than freida
but now i fear the storyline will be too cringe / won’t match that???? like it won’t be dark enough to be a lucinda berry type experience… and not quite quick witted and funny enough to be a freida mcfadden level read… i guess what anticipating is the same experience as a blake lively movie? funny that…

maybe i’m just emotional or in a VERY particular phase of my life right now… but colleen ate and left no crumbs with some of these [intentional or unintentional idk] philosophical quotes bro
i fear i could potentially enjoy this ???
but i think the story line may give me the ick
but the quotes and quoting tbh
